Children & Youth

Trinity Youth and Children's Project is here to help young people growing up in North Ormesby and their families flourish. North Ormesby can be a tough neighbourhood to grow up. According to official statistics 64% of children live in poverty. We seek to offer a safe and nurturing environment where they may grow in confidence and learn life skills.

What people say about us...

“Since coming here I have been able to be myself. I’ve learned how to act and I feel like a superstar when we act on stage in front of people”
Leah 13

“I am a better person all round, I am a lot more respectful to family, friends and older people
Nevin 10

“We moved from somewhere else and it helped me to fit in. I have made friends and I have confidence in myself”
Noretta 9

“It (TYCP) has always seemed to me to provide an outlet for children/young people to broaden their horizons which they would not otherwise get through school because of the crowded curriculum or their home life. I believe it has done an excellent job and that it should be welcomed in an area like this.”
The local regeneration partnership.

“The whole emphasis of TYCP is to put into the children's lives something they cannot find anywhere else on the streets of North Ormesby.”
Local primary school teacher.

“Your service is first class. My children have been given some great opportunities and have grown in confidence”
“What you do is fantastic. It has helped both of my children to mix with others safely. Neither of them are shy any more.”
